Howard Chalmers
Principal
Howard leads Aspirent’s Product Management practice. In addition to his expertise in Agile software development, Howard is known for his extensive experience building and leading high-performance, cross-functional, and international teams, and his dedication to developing future leaders.
Howard has delivered commercial software for over two decades in multiple industries, including hospitality, travel & entertainment, non-profit management, retail, healthcare technology, and telecommunications. He has served companies committed to agile transformation by coaching and mentoring executives and product teams on Agile methodologies, organizational design, and product management. Prior to Aspirent, Howard served in product leadership roles at ALYKA Health Technologies, Macy’s, NCR, and Blackbaud, Inc.
Howard has a BS in Management Information Systems from Auburn University. Outside of work, Howard enjoys traveling, camping, and playing guitar. He is an avid hiker, a committed scout leader, and sits on the boards of multiple education and non-profit organizations. Howard and his wife, a school nurse, are the parents of three boys and live in Forsyth County, north of Atlanta.
