Carey Stewart

CTO

Carey Stewart is co-founder, Chief Technology Officer, and a member of the board for Aspirent Consulting LLC. Carey’s 22+ year career has spanned industries from computer gaming to air travel, hospitality, retail, logistics, consumer packaged goods, wholesale auto auctions, IT consulting, and software product development. Former roles include Chief Architect and Director of Enterprise Architecture for Delta Air Lines, Chief Architect at HP (EDS Corporation), and Director of Consulting Lines of Service at Daugherty Business Solutions in Atlanta. As part of the industry-recognized leadership team at Daugherty, Carey helped achieve a 35% growth rate for 6 consecutive years, and was responsible for the successful introduction of multiple service offerings, attraction and retention of key talent, client engagement management, and the successful delivery of numerous, high-profile management consulting engagements.

Carey was one of the pioneering architects of the award-winning Delta Nervous System, co-inventor of Delta’s patented real-time, ticket revenue recognition process, and a long-time champion of technology that empowers people, and is aligned to the way they think and work. Carey has driven process, organizational, and leadership improvement initiatives for over 30 of the Fortune 500 companies, always focused on improving an organization’s ability to deliver value their customers. As such, he is a sought-after management consultant for organizational assessments and technology roadmaps. He is an accomplished facilitator, with the rare ability to bridge the communication gap between business teams and technical delivery organizations.

Carey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside. When not at work, Carey enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, and (slowly) expanding his skills in digital photography.
