Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a logical, rigorous, and analytical problem-solving approach, leading requirements gathering sessions and preparing and delivering client presentations and work products/prototypes
  • Manage release schedules, prioritize projects, and ensure adequate resources are available
  • High level awareness of software development and maintenance methods, tools and techniques and demonstrates a strong awareness of the uses of IT
  • Understanding of all stages in a project lifecycle and ability to manage small projects through every stage of delivery and has the financial acumen to manage a small budget
  • Conduct and document complex business analysis projects
  • Perform technical analysis to determine present and future business performance
  • Provide functional advice or training to less-senior business analysts
  • Occasionally lead direct or indirect employees for specific projects or objectives
  • Create and execute system test plans
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and experience in running successful workshops

Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years of enterprise Business Analysis/ Systems/Process Architecture
  • Business Analyst Certification (CBAP or CCBA)
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills with professional staff, senior level executives and the community at large
  • Strong leadership skills, including a history of increasing leadership responsibility and career growth
  • Ability to proactively manage risk and influence others
  • Ability to identify potential risks and issues and anticipate points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA or BS required; MS or MBA preferred
